A short one....

This will be a short blog post for Wednesday.  I did want to let you know that I actually remembered to take my camera in to lunch on Tuesday, so here is that picture I promised.

The only thing missing from this plate is the dessert, and I shared those recipes with you a week or so ago.  There was a lemon cookie and an exquisite mint stick for everyone.

Yesterday was a rather wet day around here.  The rain just poured!  Our rain gauge measured more than two inches, and our area is more than seven inches above the average rainfall for this point in the year.   It will take a long time for the garden to dry out enough for working this spring!

I send along wishes for a good day to each of you!

Thank you for reading.  I appreciate  your comments.

Some have too much rain water. Some, not enough. Ahhhhhh the vaguearies (spelling???) of weather.

  3. What a great meal those folks had yesterday!

I don't know how much rain we got, but we had about an inch of snow this morning. Really looked pretty, and was not enough to make driving dangerous for most folks. I'm glad you have a day of rest today and hope you're using it wisely! :-)

  9. Bet that meatloaf was awesome.. It looks delicious. You have really had a busy week. Get any snow today? We got about 2 inches --and it's still with us since it stayed so cold here today.
