Country Girl worked for a United Methodist church camp for eleven years after her graduation from college. I think it is appropriate that I include this blessing that was frequently used at the camp as the campers and staff would leave after a week at camp.
"May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
The sun shine warm upon your face,
The rain fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again.....
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand."*
On this St. Patrick's Day, the words from this Irish blessing express what I wish for each of you.
May you have a blessed Sunday.
*words from "The Little Book of Irish Wisdom."
