Tuesday tidbits….

It has become a rather gray day here.  Good thing I snapped this picture earlier….

Turns out that was apparently all the sun we’ll be seeing today.

Remember that song “Anywhere I Hang My Hat is Home?”

Does this mean that the witch lives here?!?

Seasonal displays in the house give some October spirit….

It even looks a bit like October outside….
Twitter Book Club is tonight.  I am happy to say that I have finished the book!

Uncertain about my reading choices for the month, though I plan to do some reviewing of these….

Good wishes to you on this day!  Take care, and be safe and well!

  2. Your wee pumpkins are sweet, Nellie. It's been cloudy for us the last few days. Enjoy your book club meeting.

  4. I love your table centerpiece. Are those real tulips at this time of year? They are so pretty.

That must be some snazzy witch who wears that glittery hat. I bet she's a lot of fun around Halloween.

    Hugs, Julia

  5. Oh, I have been wanting to get myself some new magazines, Nellie. How fun that you have a few to browse through all the creative ideas. I like the October touches around your house, and your witch hat is delightful. That's nice that you participate in a book club. That's a cool photo of the sun shining through.

Have a good October week, Nellie.

  6. Hi Nellie - Love your decorations and your witch hat! Beautiful....looks like it belongs to a very GOOD witch! It is gloomy here in PA, too. Book Club today - The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. Fantasy, a little spooky, perfect for October. Have a great day!

  7. I couldn't leave you a note here on your blog earlier, if I look at your post on my iPhone, it won't let me leave comments here. Now I'm back at my desktop, I wanted to say how much I enjoyed your post, Nellie. Good thing you snapped a pic of the bit of sunshine you got this morning. It's bright and beautiful here at the moment, but the proverbial frost on the pumpkins has taken down my strawberry plant. Oh well...'tis the season. Did you enjoy reading Persuasion? It's one of my favourites of hers. I love P&P and S&S as well.

  9. I may be in the minority, but Persuasion is my favorite Jane Austen novel. I keep looking at pumpkins and gourds and will probably buy some next week. It's been just too hot for autumn decor so far.
