Area author....
Are you glad Friday is here? Do you have special week-end plans? Perhaps you plan to spend some of your time reading.
Here are some books by a local author.
What is exciting about this author is that she is the mother of a former third-grade student of mine! These books are fiction and are set in the area of the Smoky Mountains. I am fortunate enough to have autographed copies of two of the books. Later today she is having an autograph session, hopefully for the next book in the series. Perhaps I will be able to convince her to autograph the books I have that are missing her signature.:-)

How exciting to know the author of those books! I am not familiar with them, but the title of the first one sounds intriguing. :-) Our weekend plans are not very ambitious....just trying to stay cool, and a couple of meetings, including lunch with a couple of former co-workers, which will be lots of fun! ReplyDeleteI have always treasured autographed books Nellie. I lean more toward cookbooks but any book which has been signed by the author is quite special.

ReplyDeleteI think that the author should be exited that you have all four of her book and she should be trilled to autograph them for you. It's nice that you have a chance to get the books autographed by someone who's kids you taught in school.
