On this day....

....thirty-nine years ago, these precious babies arrived!

Twin daughters!

They joined a big sister, 20 months old, and were a surprise as we had expected only one baby!

Happy Birthday to Munchomom and Country Girl!  You have come a long way since this picture was taken when you both weighed 5 pounds, 3 ounces!

  3. Oh, I remember that day SO well!! I also remember that The Husband had thought he heard two heartbeats, although the doctor insisted it was only ONE baby! Yes, you had a ten-pound, six-ounce bundle of joy, and those girls are a true blessing to everyone who knows them, as is their big sister, City Girl. Have a blessed day!

  8. Oh my goodness you didn't know? What a wonderful surprise at Christmas, though I am sure you were in shock. That happened to my SIL too, no idea there was two.
We scrambled around to get things ready for two. I hope you have a lovely day. I bet you had your hands full with a 20 month old at home.
Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderful day.
