Just in time....

Before the sub-freezing temperatures moved in, I took these pictures.

The knockout roses made it through the couple of episodes of frosty mornings, but I was taking no chances this time - especially with no warming trend expected for several days

I am not much of a flower arranger, but these have brought some cheer to the house, regardless. :-)

Take care, and stay warm!

  1. Your roses are beautiful! Thank you for sharing to brighten my morning! Have a super Saturday, Sister, and stay warm out there! Even your nephew has 33 degrees this morning, and you know where he is! YIKES!!!

  2. Nellie, I snipped off my last rose and brought it in also. Funny how cold it can be and a rose will pop out. It is beautifully sunny here so far. But snow is being predicted this evening and the next 3 days...hopefully not lots. I have gotten some warmer clothes out. LOL. Bless you, xoxo,Susie

  3. They are just beautiful.
Is it very cold there today?

  4. It made a lovely bouquet to be enjoyed inside. Such lovely colors.
    They'll be back next Spring.
    Have a nice weekend.

  5. Beautiful! It's a little warmer today, than the past couple of days. I'll take it!

  6. Oh Nellie..I bet those roses did bring happiness into your home! They are gorgeous! I don't have roses anymore, but still just love then!!

    Stay warm!

  7. Your knockout roses are beautiful. Mine have died a while ago.

  8. My rose bushes are covered in snow. Boohoo

  9. Pretty, pretty! Snow on the ground, street, etc. now and so cold. This is way too early. Have a fun weekend and stay warm!

  10. We've had cold weather, but not as cold as your weather. I was visiting friends over the weekend and noticed their geranium was blooming. Thankful for every day we have above freezing.
