Still waiting....

.....for the Oak Leaf Hydrangea to come into full bloom....

Perhaps it won't be too long.

We're also waiting for measurable rainfall in this new rain gauge, a birthday gift to The Husband!  We may have received 1/10 of an inch yesterday afternoon.

Sending wishes for a Terrific Tuesday to you!

  1. Much of life is a waiting game, and plants are masters of that game! I hope your day will be a good one, Sister! Maybe we'll be able to add some wet stuff to that gauge soon!

  2. Bet those hydrangeas will be gorgeous. I LOVE them.

You got 1/10th of an inch MORE than we got... We got NOTHING here --and are getting desperate now. Bet we'll be watering the yard soon.

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  3. Mother Nature is never in a rush and we spend a great deal of time waiting instead of enjoying what is available on a certain day. I was just thinking about that this morning while I was pulling dandelions in one of my perennial flower beds. I had to trim a thorny rosebush and I was glad Mother Nature was slow to grow the shoots because I was late to do the pruning.

    Have a great day.
    Hugs,
    JB

  4. That is a very nice rain gauge. My sister lives in Oklahoma and they got 12 inches over the weekend.
So much rain. I don't have that kind of Hydrangea. I would love to get one of those.
    Have a lovely day.

  5. My roses bloomed and died and will bloom again soon. They're the only nice part of my backyard, although I did put some plants in pots last fall and almost all of them survived the winter. They line one side under the edge of my deck so a certain dog doesn't walk under the deck and then under the house and then into the front yard to wander who knows where.

    Love,
    Janie

  6. The leaves have finally come out on the trees here, all in just the last couple of days.
    Nice rain gauge.
