Looks like a great beginning, and I'm sure those raindrops were indeed a welcome addition to the festivities, even though they required a bit of creativity to keep the food and the guests dry! Have a marvelous Monday, Sister! More rain is predicted, but we'll just have to wait and see whether it comes our way! :-)
I believe I heard we had 23 days of rain in May. It's a shame all that water couldn't be equally distributed, I would sure be more than willing to share some of ours
Yay for the opportunity to get together for a picnic, even if the ending was unexpected.

ReplyDeleteWho said God doesn't have a sense of humor? You pray for rain and get it on the day you least want it--during a church picnic! xo Diana

ReplyDeleteOur day ended with a thunderstorm, too. Happily I was home and we so need the rain, too. Have a great week!
