Another "corny" one....

Once upon a time....

....there was an empty baking dish.

Suddenly, a recipe appeared!

It comes from that wonderful Autumn book by Susan Branch!

It was perfect for this baking dish!  Here it is ready to go into the oven!

Out of the oven, ready to serve!

Yum! It would appear that it has been a hit with us here!

Try it!  You'll love it!

Susan Branch's book Autumn is available from her website store - susanbranch.com

  1. Corn pudding was a staple at the farm when I was a kid growing up. My father LOVED it. I have not had it in years. yum! xo Diana

  2. I don't know if I have ever had this Nellie. I think it sounds wonderful. I finally did it on Saturday, I threw a whole trash can of cook books out. Stacks of Taste of Home magazines. I still have tons left. I made a start though. I kept my Susan Branch and Gooseberry Patch. It seemed almost sacrilegious. I hope you have a wonderful week.

  6. I know I would love this. I have a double corn bread recipe that uses corn kernel and cream style corn and it looks similar except there's no paprika. It really looks yummy.

  7. I'm sure this was scrumptious! I'm joining Happyone in that feeling of hunger, even though it's now 12:55 CDT!!! Maybe I should just go to bed?? Love you, Sister!

  8. I was just looking through this yesterday - Val sent it to me a few years ago!
I've been reading The Fairy Tale Girl - so interesting how she started painting. And her childhood - what a family! I'm really enjoying it.
