The weekend here was beautiful, and today that great weather continues! It’s almost like late spring/early summer. Hopefully there will be nice weather two weeks from now when we’re hoping to be able to have Thanksgiving outdoors!
For Sunday lunch, this is how the meal appeared....
My favorite market came through with a good and easy choice this week! The Chicken Cordon Bleu rollups were perfect, and it was great to have some roasted zucchini and yellow squash! I continued that “good and easy” theme with the following dessert....Pumpkin Pie Dump Cake, ready for the oven........and here it is, ready to serve! Topped ours with ice cream this time as it’s definitely the season to celebrate with ice cream!
As always, I send wishes for safety for each of you! Be smart, and make wise decisions! Stay healthy!
Well, Sister, someone has said that one secret to a good meal is a good presentation, and you certainly do know how to make your meals look appetizing! That dessert sounds wonderful, too, and ice cream makes every dessert special. My mouth is watering now, and I just finished lunch! Have a lovely afternoon. Love you!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Nellie! It all looks delicious to me. Love the dessert and the bowls too! Crazy weather here too, 75° now, when it would normally be about 25° cooler. Take care, be safe!
ReplyDeleteYour Sunday meal looks scrumptious Nellie, and what an exciting dessert to top things off...

Thank you for sharing such deliciousness.

I love Chicken Cordon Blue and I'll have the veggies too, please. The desert looks good but I'll have to just smell and look and not touch, lol. Your husband must be spoiled with such menus. Enjoy the new week.

Oh Nellie, your meal looks delicious. And that dessert—-yummm, and sounds so easy. Is it just a cake mix and pumpkin??

It all looks so inviting, Nellie. How nice to have a little break and let someone else prepare the chicken for you. You do have some lovely offerings on your table, my friend.
ReplyDeleteStay safe and well xo
