We were greeted by this lovely light snowfall on Monday morning. The snow changed over to rain, however, and the snow was quickly washed away.
This morning, we woke to freezing fog. The landscape was beautiful, and these pictures don’t do it justice.
Winter wonders! Such a treat! Around 2:00, the sun decided to appear, and we have clear, blue skies!
Sending encouraging thoughts to all! Take care! Be safe! Stay well!!
We live in the most beautiful place, don't we, Sister? Your pictures are lovely, and I thank you for sharing this gorgeous landscape with us. Love you!
ReplyDeleteI love to see the hoar frost. So pretty. We get it quite often around here.
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely at your home, Nellie. We've had lovely hoar frost the last couple of days. It looks like a fairytale with the sun shining on the diamonds laid before us.
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself, my friend. These are trying days.
Your photos are proof that a little snow can be lovely.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Snow changes everything into a magical, fairy tale world of wonder and Turkish Delight!
ReplyDeleteHi Nellie - Beautiful photos! I love the change of seasons and that is why we decided to stay in PA instead of retiring South. I love this time of winter...cozy and quiet! Stay well -
ReplyDeleteHello Nellie, that is my daughter's name also. I think it was you who just followed us, thank you for that. I appreciate it so much. I see you got a bit of snow. It's been pretty cold here in the mountains where I just moved to, and one day we had a bit of snow covering the ground. But the days warm up and it doesn't last too long, does it? It's nice to meet new friends.

It is lightly snowing here today, Nellie. We need the moisture as so far this winter has been very dry. I love frozen fog as it makes all the trees look like diamonds when the sun comes out. Every season has its beauty
ReplyDeleteGreat pics! The hoar frost was beautiful here also. But I'm ready for the snow and all to leave here and bring on warm sunny weather. Take care
