Christmas Eve....

One of the most meaningful events for our family on Christmas Eve is the candlelight service at church.  The white candle on the Advent wreath is lit at the beginning of the service.  The service ends with everyone having a lighted candle and the singing of "Silent Night."

                  "What can I give Him,
                         Poor as I am?

                    If I were a shepherd

                    I would bring a lamb.

If I were a Wise Man

                      I would do my part.

Yet what can I give Him?

                      Give my heart."

                                                        - Christina Rossetti
