....while this is going on inside!
Those green shoots are peeping up from the ground while this pot of soup is bubbling away! Last week's springlike temperatures must have given those bulbs the signal that it was time for their appearance. Winter is back with us this week!
Oh no, the poor bulbs will freeze if winter is coming back! That happened here last year, too :(ReplyDelete
That soup looks delicious. Can I come over for dinner? :)
Oh, and there are some buds on some trees, too! Sure hope they don't get their little noses pinched! I think I can smell that pot of soup along with some cornbread for The Husband, and the aroma is delightful! Have a marvelous Monday, Sister!ReplyDelete
I'm with Beate - I want to come over for dinner too! Wow, those bulbs are making way too early of an appearance...ReplyDelete
Nellie, Isn't that amazing, something wants to grow already. I love seeing it. My soup I was going to make yesterday turned out to be beef stew.LOL. I got started and thought , we have not had stew for a long time. So made it instead. Blessings to you and yours, xoxo,SusieReplyDelete
Not looking forward to more cold and I pity the folks who are getting slammed with so much snow.ReplyDelete
Oh this soup looks delicious! Hearty and delicious. Funny coincidence: we had soup tonight.ReplyDelete
Hi Nellie , the shoots are ready for warmer weather , maybe that's a signal that warmer weather is coming soon . Your soup looks warm and inviting , just what you need to keep warm and cozy , :)ReplyDelete
The soup looks good. I love seeing the surprises that come up to show us that no matter what spring does show up. Have a nice evening.ReplyDelete

The pot of soup is a real winner here. I love homemade soup and yours looks delicious.ReplyDelete
Wow, it's a bit early for shoots to pop out of the ground. I wonder if it will damage the bulbs.
We're waiting for a big snow storm again. Sigh....
Hello, Nellie! I popped over from Susie's blog to see your spring bulbs poking up!!! We still have flowers from fall here in our yard in Texas. Not many, mind you, but a few!ReplyDelete
My roses bloomed when we had a cold snap. I still have a few left.ReplyDelete
Oh my goodness. That sure isn't happening where I live. : )ReplyDelete
Banned complain !! Complaining only causes life and mind become more severe. Enjoy the rhythm of the problems faced. No matter ga life, not a problem not learn, so enjoy it :)ReplyDelete
