Do you have picnic plans for today? Perhaps you will grill at your place. Either way, nothing is better than a bowl of potato salad!
Although I had made potato salad for many years, the recipe in this book has become a favorite.
A dear friend gave a copy of this book to City Girl upon her graduation from college in 1995.
Susan Branch has created works of art with each of her books!
Incidentally, Susan is now in the midst of a cross-country book tour, stopping along the way for book-signings and giving those of us who follow her a chance to meet her! Check out her website - susanbranch.com - to see if she will be near your area!
Have a happy day!
Good Morning, I love the art of Susan Branch...thanks for the link. I also love potato salad! Wishing you a blessed day, Nellie.
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Sister! I do love potato salad, almost any way it's made! We expect to enjoy the company of our son and his family, plus some others who have no family, and the menu sounds wonderful, including some potato salad!! I'm doing the desserts, so I hope to enjoy some of my own offerings! Have a wonderful day as we remember the reason we're able to celebrate. Love you!
ReplyDeleteWe had our picnic yesterday so that everyone could be part of it....kids will boat and use the jet skis today. Hope you have a wonderful day - xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting a Susan Branch book so I think I will break down and order one.
ReplyDeleteI have that book now I will have to check out her potato salad recipe. Is Susan going to be near you? I hope you get to see her in person. Have a great week Nellie!
ReplyDeletePotato salad is a favorite of mine. : )
ReplyDeleteHello Nellie...Guess what? I made potato salad for a barbecue today! I don't put in celery seed (or celery) but other than that, my recipe is very much like Susan's.
ReplyDeleteDid you buy her latest book, the sequel to Fairy Tale Girl?
Okay, hope you have a good rest of the week. Susan
