Marcia Ferguson, author of North of Supposed to Be, has issued a Twitter challenge!
I pulled out my favorites - plus a new one from the Internet - for all the festivities of this past holiday time. Next, it will be on to others that will offer something new to try.
Do you want to join me?
Since I don't tweet, I don't know what the challenge is! Does it have to do with trying a new recipe from an old cookbook? I have several shelves of cookbooks, but only a few recipes that I return to, just like an old friend. Whatever the challenge, I'm sure you are up to it, and we always look forward to seeing your recipes! Have a wonderful day, Sister! Love you!
ReplyDeleteI'll do it. I have so many cookbooks (but you can never have too many, right?)
ReplyDeleteHow interesting Nellie, I do hope you will show us what you choose to cook.
ReplyDeleteI did collect cookbooks, TOO MANY lol,, now I have two,, thats it,,have fun with this!!
ReplyDeleteCookbooks that I never used? We have bookshelves full of these!
ReplyDeleteI have some cookbooks that I never use, but I enjoy looking at the recipes, especially if a picture is included. I still go back to the gold old Betty Crocker my mom gave to me when I got married.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
I know you will enjoy this very much, Nellie. Before John was diagnosed with diabetes, I loved to cook and collected cookbooks. Now, it is a chore to cook a healthy diet! lol
ReplyDeleteYes, I have cookbooks that I haven't used in a while and also some I've never made a recipe from.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to hear more about this event Nellie. How? When? I'd love to share the info with those participating in Cookbook Wednesdays!!! Can't wait!!!
ReplyDeleteI see we both have Susan's Summer book -- I love it. I took it to the mountains one summer and prepared several recipes from it during our stay there. So it has good memories attached to it.
ReplyDeleteHappy cooking ...
