A Susan Branch Christmas....

I have been a fan/follower of Susan Branch for a number of years.  She has designed several things for Christmas, and I always enjoy being able to set them out during this time.  Pictured here are some of the them.

The flags serve as a welcome at Christmas!  They are the first to be displayed as soon as Thanksgiving is over.

The Christmas Memories book is placed in a convenient spot, and any company is encouraged to add comments when they visit.  The book is designed with space for entries for five years, and this is a new one for this year.  In order to have it, I had to shop on eBay last year.

Christmas Joy is a book that I have given several times - to our daughters as well as to friends.  It is just the thing to read at this time of year.

Christmas From the Heart of the Home has some recipes that have become favorites of family members.  It is one of my favorite past times to read through it.

It was due to the influence of Susan that I became interested in looking in antique shops for quilts.  In a little shop in a small town in an adjoining state, I found this quilted throw.  Of course, it is not an antique at this point, but I was really taken by the fact that this is hand quilted.  Perhaps you are able to tell that there is an image of Santa in this view.  Hopefully,  there will be someone from the family who is interested in holding on to this until it DOES become an antique.:-)

Tomorrow I will share some pictures with you of Christmas items that Susan has designed that are no longer available.  One of our daughters gave me part of them, and I was very fortunate to be able to find some others for sale in a close-out shop.

Until next time, take time to enjoy the beauty of the season.
