It is a process....





....but progress is being made!

The white splotches on the sub-flooring are from sheet rock "mud" when the house was being built.  That must be scraped up before the black paper is put in place, then the hardwood comes on top of that.  It's turning out to be a good "winter project" for The Husband.

  5. Yeah! I love progress even though it may be slow. Winter is long so there's a good chance it will be completed in time.

  6. Sure wish we had done this instead of tile! At the time we did it, we had kids and dogs and thought tile was a better choice. NOT!

  9. Sounds like you and hubby have a great project going...We need some new flooring here. I'm still debating if I want a new carpet --or some hardwood floors.....
