Look what we have!

I didn't really expect this on this morning.

Before I went out for the newspaper.  The darkness didn't permit a good picture.

Just a few minutes later.  Daylight is arriving quickly.

Schools are on a two-hour delay here, and light snow is continuing to fall as I write this.

There are some followers of this blog who live in the northeast.  I'm hoping you will not lose power and any inconvenience due to this storm will be very slight.  Keep warm, and stay safe!

  1. Looks like you have a little more than we do on this side of the territory. It's really pretty, but I'm sure it'll be gone well before lunchtime. I am also praying that those in the Northeast will stay safe and warm. The system didn't materialize as they had predicted, but some folks still have it pretty rough. Have a terrific Tuesday, Sister!

  2. Stay warm today. It looks like pretty snow. I hope yours doesn't turn into a blizzard.

  3. Yes, we had more of that stuff here, just a little, thankfully. But cloudy for most of the week, Tom Skilling says.

  4. Supposed to be in the 70s and sunny here. (currently 69) I'LL TAKE IT! Would not want to be dealing with that snow in the northeast.

  5. Nellie, I am surprised also. Just enough to be pretty. Still may get slick during the night, use caution. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  6. It's been snowing on and off here by me for days. But that is what our winters are like here. : )

  7. I so envy you right now! This is not much snow, but it is more snow that we have here.

  8. Thank you, Nellie! We are still snowing here, and we got a couple of feet, I think; but not as bad as they were predicting. Very few power outages, comparatively.

  10. Sorry Nellie, i'm getting behind checking up on blogs.
You got off with not too much snow. We've had plenty and a lot of snow drifting too... Not a pretty day to be outside but I'm back warm in the house.

    Stay warm and cosy inside.
    Hugs,
    JB
