Winter....

Do you remember this?

That woolly worm from a few months ago predicted a long, cold winter.  I'm not sure he had his signals straight.  Today's high temperature here is predicted to be near 60 degrees, and this is the third week in January!  Is this winter?:)

  1. Ah, but we have many more weeks to go, and temps are supposed to drop toward the end of this week. That little woolly worm might know more than you think he does! Have a terrific Tuesday, Sister!

  4. It's -16°C or 3.2 °F. here. We had a January thaw and now we are back in the freezer. We still have snow on the ground which is good for the fields and perennials.

I'm glad that we don't have much snow though.
    Hugs,

  5. Shall I send some of our snow your way? It's been snowing like crazy again this morning. Made for a very slippery commute to work, but it's gorgeous outside.

  6. After last winter, this winter is a blessing! I saw black and brown woolly worms this past fall, so I don't think anyone really knew the weather forecast that far ahead!

  7. Nellie, I missed this post...did you deep freeze your wooly worm from last fall? LOL. We have had high 30's and mid 40's for a week now...I do not understand it...but loving it. Makes me wonder if we won't have to pay come spring. Hope not. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  9. I don't like it either. It has to do with all the climate changes and the Arctic melting.
