February....

The snowman decor has given way to -

Time to think about Valentine's Day!  Only eleven days away!:-)  What do you have planned for the "month of hearts and flowers?"

Time for another full moon!  Will it be clear where you are tonight?

  1. I just read your cake recipe. I am sorry but I did laugh, oh the trials of cooking and I have had cakes do that slide thing too.
I bet it was really good though, yes, of course it is time to do all kinds of foods for Valentines month. It is so short, so I try to pack as much as I can into it.
Have a lovely day, We are supposed to get to 71 today. 80 by Friday. So much for winter. :)

  2. I'll be away at my daughter for Valentine. I guess I need to think about it. I'll probably give chocolates.

  3. Lovely dishes Nellie, they speak ' Valentine'.
Probably go out to eat at our favorite restaurant The Cracker Barrel, and afterwards indulge in a piece of chocolate pie at home :)

  5. The only thing I have planned is not to get frost bite. Other than that, its chocolate as usual.

  6. Well, I have my hubby's birthday on Valentine's Day, and there is also a lovely wedding we plan to attend on that day. It's to be a "period" wedding, and the groom has his early-1900's Naval jacket all ready, since his lovely bride-to-be made it for him! I have seen pictures of the finished product, and the detail is amazing! I'm sure there will be a cherry pie of some sort here, too, since that is Hubby's favorite, and I'll surely sneak some chocolate in for me. :-) Hope your day is going well so far, and that you'll have a most enjoyable evening, Sister!

  7. I have to confess, I am not the biggest fan of February. Valentine's Day is stressful when you are in a relationship and depressing when you are single.

  9. I'm making my Valentines and dressing Pepe in his Valentine sweater. I'm excited to see my goddaughter and her six month old niece on Valentine's Day. Can't think of anything I'd rather do on Valentine's Day.

The moon was a HUGE orange ball in the sky this evening. Beautiful.

  14. Neat.... I love February---and on my blog (sidebar) and on my Facebook Timeline, I am emphasizing all kinds of love all during February (love of God, Self, Others).... We need to do it all year long, but it's nice to emphasize it in February.

    Hope you are well...
