For the season....

The "season of love" needs some special books -

My favorite, though, is this one -

Susan Branch has a wonderful small volume showcasing her marvelous talent with water colors and her own distinctive handwriting, published in 1994.

The menus are perfect for Valentine's Day!

Is it ever possible to have too much chocolate?:-)

I believe I've found an idea or two for a Valentine's Day celebration here!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could all make every day a "season of love?"

  1. I don't believe there's any such thing as too much chocolate, and the darker, the better! By following the principles in 1 Corinthians 13, we CAN make love our way of life. Have a fabulous Friday, Sister! Love you!

  2. Nellie, Whenever I pray for my grandson and his wife (married in Sept'14) , I always ask God to let them remember their sweet young love. I pray for them Everyday...and some times more. Blessings, xoxo,Susie

  4. Chocolate and, of course, my coffee... two things I REALLY miss! I had a small slice of Michael's rebirthday cake (chocolate fudge and Reese's peanut butter cups) and it just left me wanting more. Talk about torture!

    Happy Valentine's Day!

  5. Nellie, there's a lot of love in those books! I'm not a big fan of chocolate, but my better half more than makes up for that. And, yes, it would be wonderful if it were always the "season of love."

    Happy Valentine's Day!

  8. I do not believe any sentence in which the words "too much chocolate" are strung together should exist. Pretty books!

  12. One can never have too much chocolate in my book, Nellie.

One of my very best favorite "love season" books is 84 Charing Cross Road. I usually take it out this time of year. It isn't a very voluminous book but it speaks volumes:)

    Happy Valentine's Day, Nellie...
