I first tasted this while shopping at a favorite shop. Eager to duplicate it at home, I needed to make a purchase!
Amazing mulling spices....
....dissolved in lemon lime soda and ginger ale!
Using the entire package of mulling spices would need two liters of each. I divided the package since I didn't need to make four liters!!
I was able to find the Blue Sky at a local organic market. No high fructose corn syrup in these - sweetened with real sugar!:-)
It is good to be able to mix it up the day before, then chill it all together overnight. Fresh orange slices give it a really good flavor, too.
Needless to say, there were no leftovers after our Memorial Day guests were through with it.:-)
Looks pretty and refreshing. Thx for sharing the recipe. Stay cool today!
ReplyDeleteOh, that does look wonderful for a hot day! In fact, I think I'd enjoy that on a cold day! lol Have a wonderfully refreshing day, Sister! Love you!
ReplyDeleteIt looks nice and refreshing.
ReplyDeleteSounds really good and perfect for a summer day.
ReplyDeleteNellie, This looks so refreshing. I used to slice oranges and put them in our iced tea for supper when my girls were little. As soon as I saw that pitcher with oranges...it took me back in time. I'm happy. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great summer afternoon drink, Nellie. I've used Raven's mulling spice for a hot drink, but not cold. I'll have to give your recipe a try. Enjoy your evening! ♥
ReplyDeleteI wish it was the case here. Alas, it feels more like a rainy October so far. But without the fiery colours. I would really love to try that drink.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds delicious,Nellie! Will have to try it for sure!
