Oops! Sorry for the blur! Here, the first two layers of Munchkin the Elder's birthday cake are in place.
Layer three has been added.
Oreo cookie crumbs adorn the cake, frosted with whipped cream! My contribution was finely chopping the chocolate that was added to the frosting!:-)
This comes from one of Joy Baker's books, and was Munchkin the Elder's requested cake!
The birthday party was this past Saturday. Attendees even included the American Girl Doll of the Year!
Have a happy Monday! Pumpkin fest continues tomorrow!
What a fun birthday! That is a lovely cake too.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty doll.
Do you make clothes for her?
Nellie, What a wonderful cake. I love American girl dolls. My granddaughter has a few and she still loves to change out their clothes. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeleteOh, Sister!!! I would have totally enjoyed digging into this cake! I guess it's a good thing I wasn't there, or there might have been a riot as I wrestled the birthday boy to the floor! LOL I'm sure it was a wonderful weekend for everyone, even the doll!
ReplyDeleteThat is quite a cake!!!! WOW!!!! I love the American girl doll of the year. My little girls are getting too "big" now to play with their dolls. Kind of makes me sad. Thank goodness I have one more girl coming up! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteWow that is some kind of great looking cake!!
ReplyDeleteWhoa, that some tall cake for a special occasion. Happy Birthday Elder Munchkin.
ReplyDeleteI bet there won't be a crumb left.
Hugs,
JB
Mint chocolate chip! Oh boy! What could be better?
ReplyDeleteMe want! My daughter had Samantha Parkington, her trunk, many dresses, and most of her furniture. Samantha was discontinued for a while and became very valuable. She's scheduled to make a return.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
