More signs of spring....

Happy Tuesday to everyone!

There are those of you who follow this blog who live in the area, then there are those of you who live in areas that are still covered with snow and ice.  For you "locals," hopefully you have been enjoying scenes like these.

Dogwoods in the neighbor's yard.

Love the flowering crab apple tree!

Sweet blooms on the curb across the street!

Yes, we are having some lovely blossoms at this time.  The cooler weather we have had for the past few days has helped the blooms linger longer.

Those of you in the colder areas - never fear!  Spring will come to you!

Thank you for reading.  I really appreciate your comments.

  1. I love your spring photos. It all looks just beautiful.

  2. What BEAUTIFUL photos!!!!!!!! Especially love the little "puddle" of petals, on the curb. :-)

Have you read my today-post yet? You might want to hurry, in case it "goes poof".... -sigh- "Auntie"

  3. Beautiful photos Nellie!! I am waiting for spring to decide to stay here but she is taking her own sweet time. :-)

  4. Nellie, I have some spring weather and blooms. I am wishing the people with snow still, will get some springtime before summer...dang ! I pray they do not have flooding from the thaw. We all need prayers. xoxo,Susie

  5. Oh, yes, I am enjoying our spring blooms also! While we have none in the yard here at the apartment, there are trees of various kinds in lawns nearby, as well as a little patch of creeping phlox across the road from us. There are some lovely dogwood trees at church, and one of them prompted a discussion of the legend of the dogwood on Sunday. My hubby had never heard that, so I printed it off for him. It's a lovely way to think about this amazing tree. Have a great day, Sister! :-)

  6. So pretty. I love this time of year.

  7. Lucky you. Those flowers are gorgeous!

  8. Oh yes, Nellie. You are so right. Spring WILL get here in full force soon.

Today, however, was ch-ch-ch-chilly. Whew! Thought it was back to winter for a bit.

Thanks for all your visits and comments, too, on my blog. Always so nice to see you visited. Susan

  9. Don't you just love this time of the year? If iy would just get spring and stay spring! Lovely photos.
