Looking for green....

With the kind of winter many of us have experienced, we seem to have moved into March on the lookout for green!

When Miss Munchkin was here several days ago, she helped me find the green inside the house.

Wasn't this a good beginning?

Miss Munchkin is 7 1/2 years old and is in the second grade.  Yesterday, she represented her class in the school wide Spelling Bee.  Final results - she placed fifth out of 25 spellers through 6th grade!  We are very happy for her!   Congratulations, Miss Munchkin!

Thank you for reading.  I really appreciate your comments.

  1. WOW!!! Congratulations, Miss Munchkin! That is great for one so young, and I'll bet she'll be on top of the list in the next year or two. I love your green---such a happy color after the winter so many have had. Enjoy this sunny day, Sister! :-)

  2. Nellie, Your little munchkin is amazing. My daughter once in 4th grade got to the Spelling bee against jr.high. kids. She was fourth in that group. Daddy told her she would always be able to spell the word she missed. LOL. I see your are thinking green here. Oh yes !! xoxo,Susie
